How we use “cookies” and Internet protocol addresses. “Cookies” are a feature of web browser software that allows web servers to recognize the computer used to access a web site. They are small pieces of data that are stored by a user’s web browser on the user’s hard drive. Information gathered through cookies and web server logs may include information such as the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at the site, and the web sites visited just before and just after our site. Cookies can remember what information a user accesses on one web page to simplify subsequent interactions with that web site by the same user or to use the information to streamline the user’s transactions on related web pages. This makes it easier for a user to move from web page to web page and to complete commercial transactions over the Internet. Cookies should make your online experience easier and more personalized. We use web site browser software tools such as cookies and web server logs to gather information about our site users’ browsing activities in order to constantly improve our site and better serve our customers. This information assists us to design and arrange our web pages in the most user-friendly manner and to continually improve our site to better meet the needs of our customers and prospective customers. We do not use these technologies to capture your individual e-mail address or any personally identifying information about you although they do permit us to send focused online banner advertisements or other such responses to you. In addition, we may use cookies to retrieve user information for promotional, marketing, or security purposes. An Internet protocol ("IP") address is the unique number assigned to your server or Internet Service Provider ("ISP"). The Company may track IP addresses for system administration, to report aggregate information, site tracking, or to prevent our servers from being abused. Security of your personal information. We work to protect the security of your personal information during transmission through the use of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software which encrypts the information you input. When we confirm an order we reveal only the last five digits of your credit card number. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing. While the Company takes reasonable steps to secure your personal information, no system is fault proof. If our security systems are breached, we may attempt to notify you electronically and, by providing personal information to us, you agree that we can notify you electronically. In certain circumstances, the Company may post a notice on our web site if a security breach occurs. However, you will need a web browser enabling you to view our web site in order to access such notice. The Company may also send an email to you at the email address you have provided to us. Depending on where you live, you may have a legal right to receive notice of a security breach in writing. To receive free written notice of a security breach (or to withdraw your consent from receiving electronic notice) you should notify us at privacy@thinkitinkitpublishing.com. If your email address changes and you have provided us with personal information, you should also notify the Company at privacy@thinkitinkitpublishing.com so that we can communicate with you if necessary.
